HOT NEWS: Kate Middleton sets brutal conditions amid Prince Harry, King Charles peace talk

Prince Harry has made a significant stride in his years-long rift with the royal family earlier this month during a secret peace summit.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex had not only extended an olive branch to his cancer-stricken father King Charles, but it was also sent to Kensington Palace – the office of the Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Harry and William are still not speaking terms, meanwhile, there are reports that Kate, despite her anger, still holds a soft spot for her estranged brother-in-law. As there is correspondence taking place between Montecito and Buckingham Palace, Kate has her own set of demands if the two camps are coming to an agreement.

The Princess of Wales is setting a crucial condition which concerns Meghan Markle and their infamous falling out over bridesmaid incident.

“Kate’s made it clear that she would need a very genuine apology from Meghan and for there to be multiple witnesses present if they were to communicate with each other,” a source told Heat magazine.

The insider shared that Kate is worried that “anything said to either Meghan or Harry could end up with the likes of Oprah”. She “doesn’t want anything she says to be twisted – she obviously hasn’t forgotten the bridesmaid incident and felt she never got to clear her name, while Meghan has had many opportunities to do so.”

Meanwhile, Meghan is holding her ground in the argument and believes it’s Kate who needs to apologise.

“The possibility of Meghan travelling to the UK to speak to Kate is a long way off,” they continued. “She has far too many more important things to be getting on with, and thinks it’s Kate who should be extending the olive branch.”

It remains to be seen how the two sisters-in-law, who still hold a lot animosity against each other would cope with the peace talks. Prince William is also not the biggest fan of his brother, which could mean that there is still a long road of healing ahead before peace is achieved.
