Just In: King Charles makes royal fans emotional with heartfelt note
Buckingham Palace issued a fresh update after King Charles and senior members of the firm put on a united front on a sombre event of Remembrance Day following Andrew’s shameful exit.
On November 9, the official social media channels of the royal family shared a phrase from Laurence Binyon’s poem, ” For the Fallen, leaving the royal fans emotional.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them,” penned the poet.
The caption alongside the new post reads, “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.”
In the comments section, royal fans joined the monarch to pay tribute to war heroes. One penned, “We always remember them and the sacrifices they made do us all.”
“@theroyalfamily my best royal family, missing my best uncle & cousins,” another follower wrote.
It is important to note that on November 8, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Kate and other senior royals arrived at Royal Albert Hall for the Festival of Remembrance.
The monarch is set to lead the royal family and the nation in the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in London today.
