Breaking News: Kate and Prince William’s Heartbreaking Decision forced King Charles to give up on Andrew

Prince Andrew may never be able to recover from the damage to his image in public, but the disgraced Duke of York has finally secured the one thing that he had been fighting hard for.

King Charles had been trying to kick out his brother from the 30-mansion Royal Lodge for more than two years, ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were evicted from their Frogmore Cottage.

In fact, a former advisor to the late Queen Elizabeth had shared that the late monarch had already planned to downgrade her ‘favourite’ son. She would have evicted Andrew herself had she lived for “another year”, via royal author Robert Hardman.

The King had been trying hard to enforce Andrew’s move but the Duke had remained stubborn defying his brother’s orders. Even after Charles cut off Andrew’s private security, he did not budge from his Windsor home.

He instead provided the 75-year lease for the royal estate, agreed by the Crown Estate, in 2003.

In a new report by DailyMail, it was revealed that Andrew finally triumphed over King Charles in his struggle to keep the Lodge – which was being earmarked for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s family.

Now that William and Kate are considering a move into a different mansion, Andrew’s path is cleared to keep the Royal Lodge for himself.

Insiders revealed to The Mail on Sunday that the Wales are eyeing Fort Belvedere, a magnificent gothic-revival mansion nestled in a hidden corner of Windsor Great Park.

“They feel they have outgrown Adelaide Cottage and need somewhere more substantial,” the insider said. “This is the perfect new home for them. It has a swimming pool and tennis court, and Charlotte loves playing tennis.”

However, the move to Fort Belvedere is not imminent.

Meanwhile, another plan involves moving the Wales family into a wing of Windsor Castle.
