SAD NEWS: Andrew Receives ‘Bad News’ Again from ‘Met Police’ as they make visit to his home

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has had his firearms licence revoked in a latest humiliation for the royal after police reportedly visited his home. The former prince is well-known for his keen interest in shooting and hunting and is the owner of a variety of shotguns and rifles.

But the 65-year-old is said to have been given “a pretty thorough” grilling over how his collection of weapons is stored and who is able to access them after officers from the Met Police visited his Royal Lodge residence in Windsor in November. Andrew famously made reference to his love of shooting in an infamous BBC Newsnight interview in 2019.

In response to a question that he was said to have hosted a party for disgraced billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell at the royal estate in Sandringham, Andrew replied it was “just a straightforward shooting weekend”.

The Met Police, which is responsible for royal and diplomatic protection, are said to have now imposed severe sanctions on the former Duke of York over how his guns are stored and who is able to access them.

According to The Sun, the decision to revoke Andrew’s licence comes after a security review, which also means he will be under strict supervision should he wish to transport his firearms to any location. Sources claimed it was Andrew’s valet who met with police officers in November.

The Daily Mail previously reported in October that royal insiders had said it was being considered whether to continue to allow Andrew to host shooting parties on royal estates. The former Duke has not been spotted attending any such event.
spokesperson for the Met Police said: “On Wednesday, November 19, firearms licensing officers attended an address in Windsor to request that a man in his 60s voluntarily surrender his firearms and shotgun certificate.

“The certificate was surrendered, and we will be not be commenting any further at this stage.

Andrew has faced allegations, which he strenuously denies, that he sexually assaulted a teenage Virginia Giuffre after she was trafficked by Epstein. He settled a civil sexual assault claim with Giuffre in 2022.

Andrew stepped down from royal duties in 2019 after his disastrous Newsnight interview, but the publication of Ms Giuffre’s posthumous memoir and the US Government’s release of documents from Epstein’s estate brought more scrutiny over his relationship with the financier.

It led to the King officially stripping his disgraced brother of both his HRH style and his prince title.

In a latest slew of photos released in connection with the Epstein case, a photo of Andrew reclining across the legs of five women with his head near one woman’s lap has surfaced.

In the undated image, which is a photograph of a picture in a photo frame, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell peers down and smiles at the former duke, who is himself smiling with his eyes closed.

The faces of six women have been redacted with black squares, and the photo appears to have been taken in front of a grand fireplace. Epstein and Maxwell are also seen in another undated photograph, pictured with Andrew in the royal box at Ascot. There is no suggestion of wrongdoing in appearing in the photos.
