Prince William and Prince Harry, who once shared a close bond, are now at a point where they cannot speak one word to each other.
King Charles’s two sons have been estranged since Harry released his bombshell memoir, Spare, in 2023, in which he thrashed his elder brother and members of the royal family to not treating him and his wife, Meghan, fairly.
While there was speculation over the slimmest chance that the two brother could be brought together, but royal sources confirm that there us “no relationship” between them anymore, via Us Weekly.
According royal historian Marlene Koenig, “Bridges have been burned on both sides.”
It seems to be Harry’s latest stunt, the bombshell interview with BBC in May about the verdict on his security appeal, which has sealed the deal and the door is shut on the reconciliation.
During the interview, Prince Harry said that he was open to reconcile with his family and added he doesn’t “know how much longer my father has”. He also criticised the royals for not wanting to ensure the safety of his family.
The insider told the outlet that the future King is “absolutely appalled” that Harry referenced their father’s cancer battle.
“There is no turning back for William,” the source said. “The door is firmly shut.”
Sources also noted that the rift between the two brothers will have repercussions on the royal family’s image and “herculean efforts” would be needed to recover.
