Breaking News: Queen Camilla burst into Tears as Harry threatened her with Ultimatum Over New Bombshell…
Prince Harry adopted an unconventional nickname for his stepmother, Queen Camilla, and detailed the cruel term in his memoir, Spare. The bombshell memoir was published on January 10, 2023, ghostwritten by J. R. Moehringer and published by Penguin Random House.
In the book, the Duke of Sussex referred to his 77-year-old stepmother as the “Other Woman”, also revealing that her relationship with his dad, King Charles, “confused” and “tormented” both him and Prince William throughout their childhood. The brothers were not against their father having a romantic relationship with Camilla, but it was the step of walking down the aisle with Camilla that the brothers were opposed to.
Speaking of their union in his book, Harry explained: “Despite Willy and me urging him not to, Pa was going ahead. We pumped his hand, wished him well. No hard feelings.
He went on: “We recognised that he was finally going to be with the woman he loved, the woman he’d always loved.”
In Spare, Harry refers to the late Diana, Princess of Wales’s BBC Panorama interview, in which she said: “There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”
The Duke then goes on to explain that his mother’s “maths was off” because she failed to take into account the toll that the royal love triangle took on her sons.
Harry wrote: “She left Willy and me out of the equation,” before describing how although they did not fully understand what was going on in their parents’ relationship, he and William sensed something was not right. He said: “We didn’t understand what was going on with her and Pa, certainly, but we intuited enough, we sensed the presence of the Other Woman, because we suffered the downstream effects.
Although Charles and Camilla’s relationship had been rumoured for a long time beforehand, they appeared in public together for the first time in 1999, around a year and a half after the tragic death of Princess Diana. At the time, Harry was 14 years old and William was 17.
Harry wrote: “Willy long harboured suspicions about the Other Woman, which confused him, tormented him, and when those suspicions were confirmed he felt tremendous guilt for having done nothing, said nothing, sooner.”
Charles and Camilla wed in April 2005, and Camilla received the title of Duchess of Cornwall following their union. After Queen Elizabeth II died, Charles became King Charles III and bestowed the title of Queen Consort upon his wife.
