King ing Charles “hasn’t changed his mind” on Prince Andrew as his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, continue to forge their own path, a royal author has claimed.
The brothers have been at odds for years over Andrew’s lifelong possession of Royal Lodge.
Royal author Gareth Russell exclusively told GB News: “I don’t think the King’s desire for Prince Andrew to no longer live there has changed.”
A source previously told the Mail: “It isn’t a secret that the King wants him out
Prince Andrew holds a 75-year lease for Royal Lodge, a 90-acre estate where he has lived for 20 years with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson. The lease gives him the right to remain as long as he maintains the property.
As tensions over Royal Lodge continue, the York women appear to be forging ahead with their public lives without including the Duke of York in their online shared moments
Fergie maintains close bonds with her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, according to Russell.
“It’s fairly well known the Duchess of York is a very affectionate, involved mother,” he told the People’s Channel.
He added: “You can see a lot of very open affection between her and her daughters and she’s been quite clear that she loves being a grandmother as well.
“The love and support for the Duchess and her daughters is pretty obvious.”
Prince Andrew’s exclusion from family photographs shared publicly by his daughters and ex-wife has become increasingly apparent.
This pattern of exclusion comes amid the ongoing property dispute with his brother, King Charles.
The once-prominent royal appears to be fading from public family life as his daughters and ex-wife maintain a visible presence online.
For example, Princess Eugenie recently shared a photograph from her youngest son Ernest Brooksbank’s royal christening as part of her Mother’s Day celebrations. Prince Andrew was notably absent from the picture, despite being Ernest’s grandfather.
However, the Duchess of York beamed in the photograph as a proud grandmother. Eugenie captioned the post: “Happy Mother’s Day from this proud mama and daughter xxxx”.
Fergie also publicly celebrated Eugenie’s 35th birthday last month with a heartfelt social media tribute.
She wrote: “Wishing a wonderful birthday to my beloved daughter, @princesseugenie! It has been a joy to watch you grow into such an extraordinary person, full of kindness, wisdom, and strength.”
The birthday post featured Princess Beatrice alongside Eugenie, but once again, the Duke of York was absent from the family pictures.
The Duke’s diminishing presence in York family public life reflects the changing dynamics within the Royal Family.
While Sarah and her daughters maintain a united front on social media, Prince Andrew remains conspicuously absent. This visual exclusion mirrors his increasingly isolated position within the wider Royal Family
