Prince Harry ‘lonely and isolated’ as friendship with Princess Eugenie deteriorates

Prince Harry is “lonely and isolated” in California and has “completely severed contact” with old friends in the UK, including his cousin Princess Eugenie, sources have claimed.
Friends, acquaintances and TV industry insiders have painted a picture of a prince increasingly cut off from his former life.
Sources close to Harry have denied these claims, insisting he is “happy with his family” in his luxury Montecito home.
One old friend claimed: “He has dozens of friends here who would love to hear from him, but he has completely severed contact with us.
The Duke of Sussex dramatically quit Sentebale, the charity he founded in memory of his mother, last week amid bullying allegations made by its head, Dr Sophie Chandauka.
A friend involved with the prince’s charity work in the UK told the Daily Beast: “He is going to be devastated at what has happened to Sentebale. He poured his heart and soul into that.
The source added: “All he really has now is Invictus,” referring to the Paralympic-style games Harry established 10 years ago for wounded veterans.
A Los Angeles TV executive who has met Harry socially told the outlet: “This is a very transactional town, and when you are perceived as toxic, people run a mile from you. So, no, I haven’t seen Harry at any dinners lately.
The executive added: “His brand is a busted flush and no one wants to be associated with failure.”
“The fact is that Harry started with one of the best brands in the world, ‘Prince Harry,’ and trashed it,” the source continued.
Reports in the Sun suggest Harry’s social circle is limited to “the husbands of Meghan’s pals.”
A friend claimed: “I know he feels lonely and isolated. Who wouldn’t if they had moved to another country where they don’t know anyone, and then their whole professional life and their beloved charity had collapsed?”
According to the Sun, Harry’s relationship with Princess Eugenie became strained after she was photographed with Piers Morgan.
A friend said: “A dim view was taken of this, as Piers has clashed with Meghan and Harry in the past.”
Despite the swirling rumours, Prince Harry has stated that he “very much enjoys living” in the US and plans to remain there, describing the life he and his family have in America as “the life my mum wanted”.
In an interview at The New York Times Dealbook Summit, Prince Harry said: “I do [plan to remain in America], I very much enjoy living here and bringing my kids up here.
also mentioned that he and his family enjoy a level of privacy and freedom in the US that they “undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the UK” due to security concerns.
Harry said that his life in the US, free of royal responsibilities, feels “as though it’s the life my mum wanted” for him.
Prince Harry has made it clear that he and his family have no plans to move back to the UK.
