Royal family in Tears Over Princess Charlotte’s heartbreaking Mother’s Day message to…

Like most families across the country, Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children will be marking Mother’s Day in one way or another on Sunday. While Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, will undoubtedly spoil Princess Kate with love, the day may also come with some emotion for the family. Since the death of his mother, the late Princess Diana, in 1997, Prince William is likely to have experienced mixed emotions.

This was evident just a few years ago when William and Kate decided to release photographs of the cards made by their children for their “Granny Diana”. While Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis never met the late princess, it is believed that William talks very fondly of her, sharing stories with his children so they feel as though they know her.

This seems to have generated a lot of love between William’s children and their late grandma, as shown in cards they made for her in 2021.

Among the cards was a sweet one made by Charlotte, which contained a sweet but heartbreaking message to Diana.
The young princess wrote: “Dear Granny Diana, I am thinking of you on Mother’s Day. I love you very much. Papa is missing you. Lots of love, Charlotte.”

The message was accompanied by a picture of a heart, along with stickers of a ballerina and some butterflies.

An equally emotional card was written by George in the same year.

He wrote: “Dear Granny Diana, happy happy Mother’s Day. I love you very much and think of you always, sending lots of love from George.”

It is believed the three royal children write cards for Princess Diana every year to mark Mother’s Day.
