Meghan Markle fans left furious over Prince William’s latest move

Meghan Markle fans have been left fuming after Prince William met with stars from Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s farm.

The Prince of Wales, 43, met with Caleb Cooper and farming consultant Charlie Ireland, who both star on the show, at a gathering of 60 young farming tenants at a Duchy of Cornwall event on Wednesday.

The meeting was designed to inspire the future faces of Duchy farming by providing information and inspiration.

The day featured business resilience workshops and discussions on mental health’s importance in agriculture.

A camera crew from the ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ series followed William on his trip to Folly Farm capturing footage that will appear on the Amazon Prime series.

The Prince of Wales also revealed that his oldest son, Prince George, watches the show.

Furious royal fans have taken to social media, slamming the Prince of Wales for working with the TV presenter.

It follows highly critical comments Jeremy Clarkson made surrounding Meghan Markle in 2022.

Jeremy Clarkson, who is currently filming for a fourth season of his hit Amazon Prime farming show, wrote in The Sun and on X in 2022 that he was “dreaming of the day when [Meghan] is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her”.

The column also stated that he loathed Meghan “on a cellular level”.

Upon hearing the news, one fan wrote on X: “Shame on Prince William [for] doing a show with Jeremy Clarkson after [the] nasty and vile things he said about his brother’s wife…”

Another said: “Prince William appearing on Clarkson’s Farm is a slap in the face for Meghan Markle, after the way Jeremy Clarkson spoke about her.

A third fan added that the prospect of William appearing on the show is “gross and disgusting”.

A record 25,000 people complained about the article to Ipso, the Independent Press Standards Organisation.

Clarkson and The Sun later apologised to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The former Top Gear star said he was sorry “from the balls of my feet to the follicles on my head.
