The royal family was shaken when Prince Harry had dropped his bombshell memoir, Spare, detailing shocking insights into the fractured relationships.
While this was not the first scandalous tell-all that emerged about the royal, it appears there is another one on the way.
Diana still happens to be most of the most beloved royal figures despite her death nearly 30 years ago. The late Princess of Wales was married to the then-Prince Charles for around 15 years, racked with infidelity and chaos before it ended in a messy divorce, causing a major PR disaster for the royals.
While Charles was still in love with his former lover Camilla, Diana went on to have multiple affairs and one of them was with Sir James Hewitt.
James, who has already written one memoir, Love and War, in 1999, about their affair, could possibly write another book and reveal more secrets that Diana left unsaid, according to an insider.
After the former Household Cavalry officer claimed that the late journalist Martin Bashir for “inveigled” and “lied” to land the controversial 1995 Interview with Diana, a source told InTouch Weekly that James is “speaking out again” which could mean “another tell-all”.
“He could clear up a lot of myths and tell the truth about Diana,” the source said.
Moreover, Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, corroborated that James knows secrets that no one else would be aware of.
“He knew the princess intimately for years. She wrote to him almost every day during their passionate affair,” Paul told the outlet. “He has information and a personal insight which is unrivalled. Certainly enough to write another book.”
While there is no confirmed news on the new book, it is anticipated that the secrets revealed would not be something that the royals would want in the public.
Camilla had to work on her PR image for years despite her marriage to Charles to scrub off the ‘other woman’ label she was given by the public.
