Prince William’s shocking confession about his sleeping arrangements with Kate Middleton

Prince William and Kate Middleton cherish their private moments at home with their children.

The Prince and Princess of Wales live in a five-bedroom home near Windsor castle and they share their space with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as Orla, their beloved cocker spaniel. For nearly three years, Adelaide Cottage has been their home, with the couple sharing only a few glimpses into their family life.

However, during an engagement, William gave a sneak peek into their bedtime routine, revealing that Orla often joins him and his wife Kate in bed.

During a visit to Duchy College in Cornwall, William confided in a member of the public while petting her dog. Louise Harland recounted to Hits Radio Cornwall that he shared how Orla sleeps on the bed with him and Kate.

Louise recalled, “[William] said that his little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night, with him and Kate. [He was] absolutely in love with my little dog. He asked what breed he was and he’s never met one of those breeds, he’s a Cockerjack, so he’s a little bit of a unique combination.”

Before Orla, the family had another pet, Lupo, who was a wedding gift from Kate’s brother James and sadly passed away in November 2020.

In 2022, Orla appeared in a stunning photograph alongside Princess Charlotte to commemorate Charlotte’s seventh birthday in May, and was seen accompanying William and Kate at a polo match in 2023. It appears that the Wales family enjoys the company of more than just dogs.

Last year, William made a visit to Woodgate Valley Urban Farm and encountered a variety of animals, including some incredibly affectionate guinea pigs. The Prince had the opportunity to pet them and even groom one named Snowflake.

Sharing his experience with those at the farm, he said, “These guys are pretty cool. We’ve got guinea pigs at home and they are not like this.”

He explained his less-than-glamorous task at home, “I have to spend my life cleaning out the guinea pig cage because the children forget to do it. And then they run off because you have to handle them all the time, that’s why these ones are so calm. The ones we’ve got at home, they’re off. You have to keep them constantly stroked and looked after.
