Meghan Markle makes rare comments about struggle life in the UK after quitting royal family

Meghan Markle has opened up about her cozy Saturday mornings at the Montecito mansion she shares with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Fresh off the release of her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan the Duchess of Sussex has given a few interviews, opening up about her Californian lifestyle. Since stepping back from the royal family in 2020, Meghan and Harry have kept their private life mostly under wraps.
However, in a chat with Godmothers bookstore, owned by Meghan’s pals Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and Victoria Jackson, the former Suits actress was quizzed on what brings her joy.
She was prompted to name three “pet joys” during the interview, offering fans a glimpse into the Sussexes’ home life in Montecito, California
Meghan shared that on Saturdays, she, Harry, and their kids sometimes pile into bed together to watch cartoons. And it’s a tradition she started after living in the UK.
The Duchess of Sussex said, “Saturday morning cartoons in bed is also high on my list.” She added, “In the UK, they call it a ‘duvet day’ and I’ve always found that sweet. Our little family, snuggled up for an easy family morning followed by pancakes and bacon. The dream.
This insight follows Meghan’s revelation in a People magazine interview last week, where she mentioned her children’s fondness for “surprise” pancake breakfasts.
She revealed her secret to making pancake time thrilling for Archie and Lilibet, sharing with the publication, “They don’t know what’s going to be on the other side when it flips over.”
Meghan’s new Netflix show has had a mixed review from fans and critics. Following the announcement of a second season, some people took to Reddit to share their frustration.
One critic wrote, “It’s like Netflix is just giving her the shovel at this point. A second season will not help her, it means nothing and is just giving all of her critics, hate-watchers and sinners eight more hours of reasons to laugh at her. If they are doing a second season they better Tiger King it. Stop with all the quick edits and show the real interactions Meghan is having with her guests. Meghan Unedited is the show that will be watched.
Someone else chimed in, “I blame the hate watchers. But oh well. At the end of the day, more often than not, evil prevails.” However, fans have urged Meghan to ignore the hate.
“Dear Meghan, ignore the haters and keep up the good work.” Another fan posted, “Your show is beautiful and full of heart and so many great tips. We need you in our time of division,” one person posted on X.
