Royals on edge as Sarah Ferguson raises ‘real threat’ alarm over Prince Andrew…

An royal family expert has weighed in on why Sarah Ferguson might be the person the Royal Family are wary of amid the Prince Andrew controversy.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, both reside together at the regal Grade II-listed Royal Lodge, nestled near Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

Despite King Charles III allegedly rescinding a hefty £1million annual stipend originally bestowed by Queen Elizabeth IIthe prince continues to call the estate home.

Ever since his mum, Queen Elizabeth II, relieved him of his Royal and military designations in January 2022 following civil litigation filed by Virginia Giuffre, Prince Andrew has stepped back from Royal duties.

Now, whisperings suggest Prince Andrew could be gearing up to pen a memoir similar to Prince Harry’s headline-making “Spare.”, reports the Express.

However, historian and biographer Andrew Lownie is skeptical about Andrew spilling any Royal beans. Speaking with Mail Online, he disclosed: “There have long been rumours that Andrew might write a book, and various collaborators have been suggested, but I think it is very unlikely. Andrew is loyal to the institution and knows it would impact his daughters and their position within the Royal Family.

He further stated: “Yes he knows a lot but I doubt he would ever talk. He’s told them all to Fergie and she’s the real threat which is why the family are keen to keep her on side.”

Sarah Ferguson remains close to the fold as the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

They hold the ninth and 11th spots in the succession to the British throne.

The Mirror has it that Fergie herself has openly expressed that post-divorce from Andrew, her bond with the late Queen was paramount, dubbing her “more mother than mother-in-law” and hailing her as her “greatest mentor”.

Spilling the tea in a 2007 Harpers Bazaar chat, Sarah dished out that post-split, when Queen Elizabeth II inquired about her desires, she simply sought “Friendship, not money.”

Fergie reminisced: “When I met with Her Majesty about it, she asked, ‘What do you require, Sarah? ‘ and I said, ‘Your friendship,’ which I think amazed her because everyone said I would demand a big settlement.”

“But I wanted to be able to say, ‘Her Majesty is my friend’ – not fight her nor have lawyers saying, ‘Look, she is greedy.’ I left my marriage knowing I’d have to work.”
