Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer issues update on latest family addition

Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer has issued a new update on the latest addition to his family.
Charles, 60, who still lives at Althorp House – the childhood home he grew up in with the late Princess Diana – revealed that his new dog is now able to go out around the estate after having its second vaccination.
He shared a sweet photograph of the pup with the caption: “Three months old, first night out. Always a relief when the second puppy jab is done…”
Charles has not yet shared the breed or name of the new dog, which he welcomed into his home just a few months after officially confirming his new relationship with archaeologist Catrine Jarman.
This comes after he separated from his wife Countess Karen, who no longer lives on the Althorp estate. The photo of the new puppy is the second shared by Charles, with the first having been posted just weeks ago when it is believed they first welcomed the dog into its new home.
The photograph is one of a rare few shared by Charles surrounding his private life, with most of his social media content focusing on the Althorp House estate.
While Charles himself has revealed little information about the new family addition, Catrine Jarman – who Charles is dating – shared some details of the new puppy on her own Instagram account.
Sharing two photographs of the pup, she wrote: “Meet the gorgeous Freya! This little fluffpot is a Eurasier, a breed that originated as a cross between the Wolfspitz, Chow Chow, and Samoyed.”
She went on to describe the puppy as “perfect.
While details of Catrine and Charles’ relationship remain limited, Diana’s brother did once reveal snippets of information about their romance.
He said their relationship started of as colleagues and moved onto a friendship as a result of their “shared interests”, with the pair then launching a podcast together called “The Rabbit Hole Detectives” with Reverend Richard Coles, who is currently starring on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.
While Charles said he was not looking for love at the time, the 60-year-old revealed how their friendship eventually turned into a romance, despite the fact he “wasn’t even thinking” about this.
The earl – who is uncle to Prince Harry and Prince William – told The Mail: “I’ve never been with a much younger person. I wasn’t even thinking romance.
“She knows who I am. Who I really am. I don’t have to pretend to be something I am not. And she brings out the best in me
