Mike Tindall reveals how he makes Zara Tindall ‘scream’ in candid admission

Former England rugby star Mike Tindall has offered a rare glimpse into his family life whilst guest-editing a special edition of Beano magazine.

The father-of-three, who lives with wife Zara Tindall and their children in a farmhouse on Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire, shared personal insights during his editorial role celebrating Bananaman’s 45th anniversary.

Mike, who married Princess Anne’s daughter in 2011, has become a well-respected member of the Royal Family and is known for his dedication to family life.

The couple share their Gloucestershire home with children Mia, 11, Lena, six, and Lucas, three.

In his guest editorial, Tindall shared his enthusiasm for his current role as a father.
“My job now is being a dad and I love it,” he wrote in Beano. “It’s important to set a good example, so I play pranks on the kids and their mum.”

The former rugby player revealed a playful side to family life at their Gloucestershire estate, particularly enjoying surprising his wife Zara.
“I love hiding and jumping out to scare them. It works best on mum (Zara) – she screams SO loudly!” he shared.

The Tindall children have also embraced the family’s pranking traditions.

According to Mike’s Beano revelations, the youngsters have developed their own favourite practical joke.
“The kids’ favourite prank is to hide under the table and tie people’s shoelaces together!” he disclosed.

These playful insights demonstrate the close-knit nature of family life at their Gatcombe Park residence.

The former rugby star maintains strong relationships with other members of the Royal Family, including Prince William, Princess Kate and their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.

Reflecting on his integration into the Royal Family, Tindall has previously shared his straightforward experience.
“Believe it or not, marrying into the Royal Family was pretty easy for me,” he told The Telegraph.

They were always nice to me, and I was always nice to them. Simple really.”

His candid approach and easy-going personality have helped him forge strong bonds with his royal in-laws.

These latest revelations in Beano magazine offer a refreshing glimpse into the informal and playful dynamics of modern royal family life.
