Simon Rex tells the whole truth about his alleged relationship with Meghan Markle
Simon Rex has opened up about his past with Meghan Markle, clearing up any misconceptions about their relationship and revealing if they’ve kept in touch since their brief interaction in 2022.
In 2022, Rex, 50, made headlines when he revealed that several British tabloids had offered him 70,000 dollars to fabricate a story about a romantic relationship with Meghan before her marriage to Prince Harry.
Despite the financial temptation, Simon chose integrity over money, saying he didn’t feel comfortable with lying about the royal family.
This decision caught the attention of the Duchess of Sussex, who sent Simon a thank-you letter for refusing to participate in the scandal. In the letter, Meghan wrote her feelings clearly.
“It’s nice to know there are still good people,” Markle wrote.
Simon was so touched by the gesture that he framed the note, even sharing with his followers that Meghan had “very nice penmanship.”
