Prince William is following in his father King Charles’ footsteps to make a mark with his own set of projects.
The Prince of Wales, who has been a championing causes to save the environment and finding solutions to alleviate issues that ail the planet via his Earthshot Prize.
On Wednesday, the future King visited NatureMetrics, which is a research organisation dedicated to finding innovative solutions to protect ecosystems all over the world.
During the visit, William did not shy away from pulling his sleeves up and do some science experiments with social media personality, Big Manny 1.
The two collaborated as they showed the detailed process of extracting the DNA from a strawberry.
While explaining the experiment, William took the opportunity to quip, “I’ll be Manny’s beautiful assistant today.”
The video shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales was accompanied by a message, revealing the purpose of the said activity.

Previously, William, who is father to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, Prince Louis, 6, made an impassioned speech for a Campaign for Nature event in New York.
“If we are to keep this planet liveable for our children and grandchildren, we must act urgently,” the prince said echoing the words of his father, King Charles. “We can and must change our relationship with the natural world.
