Princess Eugenie’s ‘silence’ comes amid her separation from…

Princess Eugenie’s “social media silence” has been linked to her physical separation from the UK by a property expert.

Speaking exclusively to GB News, property buying agent at Curetons, Robin Edwards, noted that the princess “has gone somewhat silent on social media ever since dropping out of spending Christmas with the Royal Family.

The princess opted to spend the festive season with her husband Jack Brooksbank’s family instead.

The shift comes three years after the couple’s relocation to Portugal, where they now split their time between their continental base and the UK.

Meanwhile, her father Prince Andrew spent Christmas at Windsor’s Royal Lodge with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

Edwards argues that Eugenie’s distance from the UK has influenced her response to recent Royal Family controversies.

Her silence comes amid fresh scandals surrounding her father, Prince Andrew, who was recently linked to alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.

Yang has denied the espionage allegations, while the Duke of York stated he “ceased all contact” with the businessman following Government advice.

The property expert suggests that Eugenie’s physical separation from the UK, having relocated to Portugal, has contributed to her notably muted response to these developments.

Her husband, Jack Brooksbank, holds a senior position at the exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club in Portugal’s Comporta region.

The luxury development is located about an hour south of Lisbon, in an area known as “The Hamptons of Portugal.”

Edwards told GB News: “Jack holds a senior role as a brand ambassador, focusing on client relations, marketing and overseeing the development’s broader vision.

The couple reside in a house within the luxury development, according to the expert.
CostaTerra is part of Discovery Land Company, owned by American property tycoon Michael Meldman.

According to Edwards, the Brooksbanks’ Portuguese property likely features a “chic, but understated international look” with “quiet luxury.”

The home emphasises sustainability while incorporating modern comforts, featuring neutral and natural tones that complement its stunning setting.

Think open-plan living spaces, expansive views of the surrounding countryside and coastline and plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy the mild Portuguese climate,” Edwards told GB News.

The property expert described the residence as “family-friendly, but also stylish, aligning with Eugenie’s taste for both tradition and modernity.”

Notably, Edwards revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rumoured to have purchased a multi-million-pound property within the same exclusive development.
