Queen Camilla opens up about the passion that she shares with Meghan Markle
Queen Camilla has opened up about the passion that she shares with Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is set to star in a new Netflix reality TV series titled “With Love, Meghan”, which will drop on the streaming platform on March 4.
The trailer for the Netflix series features Meghan wearing a white bee suit as she is shown how to work an apiary.
The mother-of-two can be heard saying: “Look at how much honey we have.
American Riviera Orchard, Meghan’s lifestyle brand, is expected to sell honey as well as jam, the latter of which the duchess’s close friends were gifted last year.
The 43-year-old shares her beekeeping hobby with the Queen, who once sold honey made from her Wiltshire home, Ray Mill House, at Fortnum & Mason.
Beautician Deborah Mitchell’s firm Heaven has supplied Camilla with “anti-ageing” bee venom facials for 20 years.
In addition, her company was awarded a Royal Warrant last month.
She told the Mail: “There’s fewer bees around because pesticides kill them as well as radio waves.”
Mitchell is expected to meet Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace today for a reception.
She continued: “It’s important because, without bees, there won’t be any humanity.
“Her Majesty and I do talk about things like that. She is concerned about the bees.
Camilla’s husband, King Charles, has kept various beehives at royal residencies, including Highgrove House and Windsor Castle.
Meghan has teased her upcoming Netflix series on Instagram, writing: “I have been so excited to share this with you!
“I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year!
“Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun.
