Kate Middleton genuinely shows her true color during royal family outing after…
Kate Middleton has been making a slow return to the spotlight, but one person who met with her believes she is “genuinely happy” to be back.
The Princess of Wales took a step back from public duties after being diagnosed with cancer. After completing her chemotherapy treatment, however, she has been continuing with her work.
Kate even joined the royal family for their annual Christmas Day walkabout and one fan who spoke with her has now spilled all about the meeting. Posting on X, the fan said Kate made time to talk to everyone, with a security guard even having to nudge her to hurry up.
The fan began, “Over the past few days, I have seen way too many posts trolling the Princess of Wales – people (who were not there at all) claiming they could tell from pictures she did not have a good time back at walkabouts and forcing herself. Let me set the record straight.”
They continued, “This was the first time the PoW interacted with the public in a year. She’s been so brave. Her voice may have wavered at first, but from the moment she got out of church, she went to meet all the people there.”
The attendee said Kate spent 40 minutes speaking with them, despite the cold weather. They added, “She took time to listen and talk to everyone who had come to see her.”
The fan shared a snap of the Princess of Wales smiling and said she was “genuinely happy” on the walkabout. The user continued, “While other members of the royal family had sped down the path, she stood there, allowed them all to outstrip her. Her husband had to call a security member to tell her to hurry.”
They concluded, “The woman I saw on Christmas Day is a woman, a wife, a mother who, suffering from cancer, smiled and had a kind word for everybody. The woman I saw is a future Queen. A truly remarkable and kind person.”
Kate even shared a joke with fans during the outing, as she said, “I seem to have lost my family.” Prince William and their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, had walked on ahead of her.
Kate was gifted plenty of flowers from fans and happily chatted to children during the walk. She wore a dark green Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen coat, matching hat a pair of black boots.
