Prince Harry happy with latest news on King Charles and Kate Middleton

Although he’s no longer close to the royal family, a royal expert has revealed that Prince Harry was “happy” to see King Charles and Kate Middleton join fellow royals on their Christmas Day walkabout.

Both Charles and Kate were diagnosed with cancer in early 2024, and despite the ups and downs that have come with treatment, the two have been enjoying the holidays.

So much so that the two joined other members of the royal family on Christmas Day. Kate and the King were able to join the walkabout and attend the annual service at St. Mary Magdalene Church before 11 a.m.

Harry not present but pleased
While Prince Harry was in California celebrating Christmas with his wife and two children, it appears the well-being of his family in the United Kingdom wasn’t far from his mind.

“They had their own private Christmas thousands of miles away and hopefully they had a good time,” royal expert Jeannie Bond told OK!.

“Meanwhile, our Royal Family put themselves on parade and consequently enjoyed a great deal of extremely positive public approval and publicity.

“If Harry and Meghan troubled to take note of the positive feedback around the royals here, they would probably have been happy that the King and Catherine were well enough to be out and about after their cancer diagnoses. They are not heartless.”

As for whether a reunion between Harry and the royal family could happen in the near future, Bond poured cold water on those suggestions.

“I hope they have learned to ignore it. I don’t foresee any progress in mending fences with the King and William in the New Year,” she said.

The court case against the Home Office continues to put Charles in a very awkward position and I don’t think William is yet in any mood to contemplate patching things up with his brother.

“It could happen… one day… but there’s no sign yet.
