Kate makes hilarious comment after temporarily being separated from her family
Princess Kate made a humorous comment to royal fans at Sandringham after realising her family had finished their Christmas Day socialising without her.
The Princess of Wales was speaking to well-wishers following the traditional service at St Mary Magdalene Church when she noticed her children and husband Prince William had moved away.
I seem to have lost my family,” she quipped to one royal supporter, as her three children and William stood patiently waiting nearby.
The moment came as crowds gathered to greet the Royal Family after their Christmas Day church service on the Norfolk estate.
Sweet snaps showed Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis chatting together while their mother continued her interactions with the public.
The three young royals stood beside their father as Kate shook hands and accepted gifts from the gathered crowd.
The family had been greeting well-wishers who had begun arriving outside the church on Christmas Eve, with senior royals including King Charles and Queen Camilla also in attendance.
Prince Louis, aged six, couldn’t contain his excitement as he received an array of gifts from well-wishers on Christmas morning.
The young royal was presented with Cadbury chocolates, Christmas crackers, bouquets and stuffed toys from the gathered crowd.
In a touching moment, Louis accepted a Father Christmas headband from a well-wisher, politely thanking them before returning to his family.
Prince William appeared amused by his youngest son’s growing collection of presents, remarking “You’ve got that as well.”
As the family began moving along the path, Louis struggled with his gifts and sweetly asked his father: “Papa, can you carry some?”
The Waleses made a picture-perfect arrival at Sandringham on Christmas morning, with Princess Charlotte holding her father’s hand.
Prince George, 11, walked confidently ahead of his siblings, while Prince Louis stayed close to his mother, holding Kate’s hand.
The family’s outfits were perfectly coordinated, with George twinning with his father in a navy coat and matching trousers.
Princess Charlotte wore a dark green coat that closely matched her mother’s Alexander McQueen ensemble.
Kate drew particular attention as she warmly embraced royal fans, who were delighted by her presence at Sandringham following what has been described as a turbulent year for the Royals.
