Prince William Is Reportedly ‘Seething’ Over This Rumor About Kate Middleton’s…
Ever since Catherine, Princess of Wales (better known as Kate Middleton) revealed that she’d be having abdominal surgery, the speculation train has gone berserk. Many wondered how serious the surgery was, especially since she’ll be avoiding public appearances until after Easter. While worrying is okay, and natural when you hear about someone going into a sudden surgery, there’s one thing that’s not okay: speculating about an eating disorder, and apparently, Prince William agrees with that sentiment.
A palace insider told In Touch Weekly that William is beyond angry with the speculation that Kate allegedly has an eating disorder, especially the same one his mother, Princess Diana, had.
William gets angry when people say Kate has an eating disorder,” they said. “Of course, it worries him that people think that, but it’s also a sensitive topic given what his mother went through.”
For those who don’t know, Diana tragically suffered from bulimia, which is a common, life-threatening eating disorder where one binges and then purges the food. Diana was open about her health struggles, and that’s something to keep in mind: she confirmed it, and was open about it.
Kate has not ever mentioned suffering from an eating disorder, despite literal years of speculation. It is no one’s place except her, and her family’s to discuss a possible disorder. But it’s unkind to speculate as strangers.
Many other fans and experts have theorized that Kate’s surgery could be a cosmetic surgery like a tummy tuck, or rather it was a hysterectomy, or even some type of illness. But no matter what it was, we’re all just hoping she has a speedy recovery.
