Prince William shows his true color after Kate ‘ridiculed’ on frontline of Firm

PRINCE WILLIAM was “furious” after Kate, Duchess of Cambridge was “ridiculed” during the couple’s latest Royal Family tour, a royal commentator has claimed.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward said the Cambridges’ Caribbean tour, which saw Prince William and Kate travel to Jamaica, Belize and the Bahamas in March, revealed the approach the duke would bring to the monarchy when he becomes King. Speaking of his “growing influence’, the author said: “He is respected and his opinions are acted upon. He can be intolerant but it is not because he is disagreeable but because he cares.” A usually media-savvy Kate and William were confronted with cancelled engagements, protests by angry locals and controversial pictures circulating the world’s front pages. According to Ms Seward, the 40-year-old Prince “wants things to run smoothly”, hence his reaction to how the trip was organised. She said: “When he and Kate were ridiculed during their Caribbean tour last March, he was understandably furious.” Speaking to the Mirror, she added: “As far as he was concerned someone should have read the current mood of the country and acted upon it long before the schedule was arranged.

Kate last-ditch bid to salvage William and Harry relationship failed ‘Nothing can be done’
Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship appears to have grown increasingly frosty over recent years despite Kate’s efforts to try and resolve the fallout.

Royal author Ingrid Seward said William’s wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, encouraged the brothers to reconcile their differences and make up but the pair remain estranged.

The relationship between the two royals is believed to have started breaking down after William’s concerns over Harry’s fast-developing relationship with Meghan.

The couple met in 2016 and announced their engagement just 16 months later, before marrying in 2018.

The row escalated some years later when Prince Harry claimed his older brother was “trapped” within the royal establishment during his and Meghan’s bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.

Harry returned to the UK earlier this month for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but the two brothers were not pictured together and are believed to have not met up privately.

Those close to the two brothers reportedly want the rift to end, with Ms Seward noting Kate has been trying to act as a peacekeeper.
