Meghan showed sympathy as Queen Camilla gets furious over Princess Charlotte’s bad…
The funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II was a solemn day for the whole country, though it was particularly difficult for the Royal Family itself, as they said a final goodbye to the beloved monarch under the watchful eye of millions.
Unsurprisingly, tensions were high on that day, September 19, 2022, and The Sun’s lipreader Jeremy Freeman claimed at the time he spotted Queen Camilla delivering a curt command to Princess Kate.
At one point in the ceremony, the young royals were seen among other family members trailing behind King Charles III.
Prince George, who was then only nine, reportedly attempted to pinch his younger sister, then seven, after which Princess Charlotte seemingly cried out “Ow!” and turned to face him.
Meghan Markle appeared to see the exchange, and showed empathy with a small, understanding smile towards Charlotte, Freeman claimed.
When Queen Camilla noticed the commotion, she appeared displeased and, according to Freeman’s analysis, sternly directed the children’s mother, Princess Kate, whispering firmly, “Take her”.
The live TV moment was also picked up on by keen-eyed royal watchers, with one writing on X: “Looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a small disagreement. Look at The Queen Consort, Camilla.”
Another asked: “What did Charlotte say when she turned back around? Was it wow? Ow? Cow?”.
Freeman also spotted a moment where Princess Charlotte appeared to assume a mentoring role for her brother, including when she reminded him: “You need to bow.
In a separate exhange, Queen Camilla was seen comforting her step-granddaughter after the young royal stumbled while offering a traditional curtsy to King Charles at the coronation concert last May.
Charlotte, following her mother’s lead, slightly lost her balance after curtsying to the monarch and looked to her father and brother as she regained her balance.
Queen Camilla spotted the moment and it appeared she discreetly comforted the Princess with a gentle pat on the shoulder as she passed by.
