Rumours are swirling of growing tensions within the Royal Family between Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla following King Charles’ Coronation, according to a royal biographer.

Speaking on the UK TV program Dan Wootton Tonight, author Tom Bower claimed the Princess of Wales is “angry” with the Queen over the ceremony’s guest list.

The writer also claimed that several people who helped change Camilla’s image from mistress to Queen were “furious” that they didn’t get invited to the historic event.

“If you look at the Coronation footage, as the King and Queen leave the thrones and head for the exit of Westminster Abbey, you’ll see that everyone bows and curtsies to the King and no one moves a limb, a muscle, when Camilla passes,” he said.
“And that’s because they were angry with Camilla.

“Camilla brought twenty Parker Bowles’ to the Coronation and there were four Middletons
Mr Bower continued: “All the people that helped Camilla get the crown on her head were excluded from that coronation and they were furious.

“And not only that, Kate and William were angry too. That anger went right through that small part of the congregation by the throne, at the centre of Westminster Abbey.

“And in that moment it was absolutely noticeable to those people who had been excluded that nobody – let alone Kate – curtsied to Queen Camilla.”

Wootton pointed out that Kate’s brother and sister were not allowed to bring their partners to the coronation, to which Mr Bower confirmed.

“And what was even more noticeable was at the Windsor concert the following day William makes no reference to Queen Camilla. So there is a tension there,” the author said.

“The whole problem with Camilla is that she’s exhausted at the moment.

“Those who met her in the weeks before the Coronation noticed a very tired, very worn-out woman with tell-tale signs of age and she’s clearly exhausted by the whole thing.

“That’s why today, Kate was in Bristol behaving like the Queen, very popular with the public.

“But Camilla has disappeared and that is a dangerous position for Charles to be in.”
This is not the first time Camilla has encountered alleged family drama.

Earlier this month, the Queen reportedly had a tense exchange with Princess Anne over her new title.

On the eve of the coronation, the Princess Royal is alleged to have told her sister-in-law that her title is Queen Consort and not Queen, according to Princess Diana’s dressmaker, David Emanuel.

The designer claimed that the topic of Camilla’s new title is “highly charged” and that “a lot of people are unhappy” that she will be referred to as Queen rather than Queen Consort.

Camilla was reportedly confronted by Anne as the designer said the “whole situation” is “very difficult” amid allegations that not everyone is willing to accept her new title.

“I heard that there was a Coronation dinner with which obviously the King and Camilla were there,” he said.

“I understood from Her Majesty the Queen, she said she should be Queen Consort. Now suddenly she’s now going to be Queen.

“And it’s very difficult because a lot of people have told me they were unhappy about it.”
