James Middleton makes feelings clear following Camilla’s heartbreaking statement

Princess Kate’s brother has shown his support for Queen Camilla following her announcement that her beloved dog has died.

He took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the Queen’s loss, saying he was “saddened to hear” the news.

He said: “The reason, I think, that losing a dog often feels harder than losing a relative or a friend is because their love for us is uncomplicated.
“The simple request in life is that you love them back.

He added: “I have written a piece in today’s Times on how I coped with the loss of Ella after I was saddened to hear of the passing of the Queens beloved Jack Russell.

“I know it will resonate with many of you so on this stormy autumn day, get cosy and have a read.”

The Queen, 77, announced Beth had sadly died after she had to be put down after suffering from an untreatable tumour.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen’s much-loved companion from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire.”

The Queen is patron of the Battersea Dogs and Cats home where she first adopted Beth, alongside her other Jack Russell dog, Bluebell.

Camilla adopted Beth in 2011 when she was just 12 weeks old.
James is a known for his love of animals, currently owning six dogs named Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, Nala, and Isla.

He also owns sheep, ducks and chickens.
Having recently been made a Dogs Trust ambassador, James plans to “welcome many a rescue dog” to his pack when the time is right.

The younger brother of Princess Kate has a young son named Inigo with his wife Alizée Thevenet.

The pair have not ruled out expanding their already large family.
