Kate Middleton marks big milestone as Prince William takes on…

Kate Middleton is willing to go the extra mile if she wants to send the right message to the right audience.

The Princess of Wales, who is popularly known for her sartorial choices and for specific accessory selection, chose a meaningful way to convey an important message after a big milestone.

Kate, who completed her cancer treatment in September, took on her first public engagement in October to meet the families of those affected by the mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport.

According to the jeweller who designed Kate’s earrings, the future Queen’s personal assistant had reached out for the special piece.

“She’s so good at sending those thoughtful messages and I love that about her,” jeweller Catherine Zoraida Blackwell told People Magazine. “She’s so thoughtful and caring in every way.”

During the visit, Kate had accessorised with a stack of eternity bands and the gold fern drop earrings.
“Ferns are a symbol of endurance, resilience and new beginnings,” she said. “It’s lovely to see her back, doing what she loves, the things she cares about so much about.”

Blackwell also revealed that Kate has been wearing her designs since 2012, the same year has set up her online business, Catherine Zoraida.
“Her PA got in touch to say, ‘We really like your jewellery and would you be able to send some pieces to the palace?’” the designer recalled.

“I think they were drawn to it because of the nature aspect of my work,” she continued. “Two weeks later, Kate was on tour in Malaysia and wore a pair of my earrings to compliment a gold embellished Alexander McQueen gown to attend a state dinner. It was mind-blowing. It really was a dream moment!”

The interview comes after Prince William attended a solo engagement in Wales to highlight ‘hidden homelessness’ of women.
