Prince William Once Left Kate Middleton In Tears After He Canceled Their New…
Before Prince William and Kate Middleton were married, the latter was upset with the royal for canceling their New Year’s Eve plans at the last minute
In Katie Nicholl’s book The Making of a Royal Romance, the 39-year-old apparently told Kate that he would join her family, but then he decided to stay with his own brood instead. He apparently told her this on the phone on Boxing Day.
“William had been having second thoughts and sat down with his father and his grandmother to have a frank discussion about his future with Kate. Both advised him not to hurry into anything,” Nicholl wrote in the book.
In 2007, the pair split, but they eventually got back together and tied the knot in 2011.
Since then, it seems like their relationship has been smooth sailing.
While posing for their 10th anniversary photoshoot, photographer Chris Floyd gave insight on their interaction
I would say that they were just like any married couples,” he told Us Weekly. “They were just like any married couple who seemed to just love being very happy in each other’s company. It was that straightforward.”
“I just said, ‘Look, this is your 10th anniversary, just be the couple that you are with each other and forget that I’m here,'” he continued. “They don’t need me to tell them how to be with each other.”
The two, who share Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3, seem like two peas in a pod, which will only help them when Prince William takes over the throne one day.
They are bringing to the party different means of achieving the whole,” the family’s former private secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton shared. “He has the experience of knowing where the institution sits and seeing it evolve. The Duchess brings this pragmatic awareness of what it’s like to be from a decent, down-to-earth family.
Thank God they’ve got each other and the training that they’ve had,” he continued. “They have a solid bond through these last 10 years. If you had scoured the realm you couldn’t have got a better pair, frankly.
