Princess Kate’s hilarious reaction to awkward remark sparks royal fan frenzy

The Princess of Wales’ hilarious reaction over a cheeky comment during a royal engagement in Twickenham has sparked a royal fan frenzy – months after the event took place.

Kate appeared to have the time of her life as she joined an England Rugby training session in February 2022.

Known for her love of the sport, the Princess donned an England rugby team outfit and studded shoes when she took to the pitch with the players for two special skills sessions.
There was one particular moment from the engagement that has gone viral on TikTok leaving many in hysterics.

During the training session, one of the players in the women’s team appeared slightly embarrassed as she told Kate that they would need to lift her by her rear to showcase how to catch line-out throws.

The player said that they just “wanted to make her aware” before going ahead with the demonstration.

Princess Kate could be seen laughing out loud as she was made aware, to which the player also laughed.

She then jokingly said, “ohhh” as she pretended to be lifted off of her feet without warning.

Kate got stuck in during the training session and said she was “absolutely” ready to join in upon her arrival at the stadium.

The visit marked the 42-year-old’s first official visit since becoming patron of the Football Rugby League and the Rugby Football Union. These positions had been held between 2016 to 2021 by Prince Harry, who had to relinquish them after he and Meghan left their senior roles in the Firm.

Kate stated that she was “thrilled” to become their new patron and that she was “looking forward to working with them”.
In November 2022, Kate met members of the wheelchair rugby league team and coaching team to celebrate England’s 28-24 victory over France.
The Princess told the squad that her whole family were keen sports followers, with her youngest child Prince Louis being a big fan of rugby.

She said: “We’re always slightly competitive with each other. They all love sport and Louis is mad about rugby. They are at an age where they just love running around.”

She added: “I do it all: whenever I can squeeze in exercise I do, even jumping on the trampoline with the children before school.
