Kate Middleton details hardest moment of her life with Meghan Markle Amid…
Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have been through a lot amid their bitter feud, but their “hardest moment” took place in the wake of Queen Elizabeth’s death, according to an expert.
The sisters-in-law have been estranged for years, after Meghan and her husband Prince Harry hit out at the Royal Family in their bombshell Netflix docuseries. However, Prince William suggested they all come together following the death of the Queen in a “show of unity.
Royal author Robert Jobson said William wanted the “Fab Four” to come together for “the sake of their late grandmother by viewing the floral tributes at Windsor”. Kate, however, hadn’t been so keen on the idea.
Catherine later admitted to a member of the Royal Family that such was the extent of ill-feeling between the couples, the walkabout had been the hardest thing she’d ever had to do,” Jobson wrote in his new book Catherine, the Princess of Wales: The Biography.
The new book also detailed an explosive row between Meghan and William. During the argument, Meghan is believed to have told William to “get your finger out of my face”.
The disagreement was over the Princess of Wales and happened after the Duchess of Sussex claimed Kate’s “baby brain” had caused her to forget about her wedding plans. William blasted Meghan as “rude.
Prince Harry also wrote about the tense relationship between Meghan and Kate in his memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex said he had found Meghan crying “on the floor” after an argument with Kate over bridesmaid dresses just days before their wedding.
It had been reported that Meghan had left Kate in tears after making comments about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress. During a dramatic interview with Oprah Winfrey, however, Meghan sensationally claimed it was actually the other way around.
Kate is said to have told Meghan there was a “problem” with her daughter Princess Charlotte’s dress. She’s then alleged to have said all of the bridesmaid dresses needed to be “completely remade.” Meghan admitted she had been “hurt” by Kate’s actions, but said the Princess of Wales had eventually apologized.
