Princess Kate set for break to spend time with George, Charlotte and Louis
Princess Kate is set for a short break during Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis two-week school half-term.
The three royal children began on Friday, October 18, and will last until November 4.
Prince William and Princess Kate’s children attend Lambook School as day students, unlike Prince William and Prince Harry, who attended a boarding school from the age of 8.
The two-week break is considered family time, with their parents often taking lighter schedules when the children are off school.
The Prince of Wales is expected to have fewer public engagements than last week when he made three major visits while Princess Kate’s next public appearance could come in November.
It comes as King Charles travelled to Australia for his first Major international tour since his cancer diagnosis in February earlier this year.
George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, are believed to enjoy Halloween after their Grandmother, Carole Middleton, mother of Kate Middleton, previously spoke on the holiday in an Instagram post.
Carole wrote: “Halloween is an Autumn highlight for me. I can still remember the fun and frights from my own childhood; the chance to dress up, decorate pumpkins and go trick-or-treating.
Carole also said she had grown pumpkins and is looking forward to decorating them with her “loved ones.”
She posted the message on Instagram in 2022 and is most likely referring to celebrating the occasion with her seven grandchildren.
The Prince and Princess of Wales do not share photos of their three children in costumes, but they have been seen trick-or-treating on doors in London.
Princess Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, described the holiday in her 2012 book as a “wonderful excuse to let your imagination run riot.
The Wales children will likely spend time with their cousins during their fortnight off school.
Their mother, the Princess of Wales, was seen for the first time since ending her cancer treatment when she and William met the families of the three victims of the stabbings in Southport.
In a video posted last month, she announced that she had finished her treatment and planned to gradually return to her royal duties.
Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March and said she would be taking a break from work to focus on her health.
The princess hopes to join the Royal Family at the annual Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph on November 10.
