Prince William, Kate Middleton set key condition to make peace with Harry
Prince William and Princess Kate might show flexibility in fixing a broken relationship with Prince Harry by setting a key condition, a renowned royal author claimed.
During an interesting conversation with royal experts in the Palace Confidential podcast, Richard Eden discussed the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex’s recent reunion over the memorial service of their uncle, addressing the speculations of the reconciliation between the brothers.
The royal commentator believes that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle could regain the trust of the royal family by issuing a sincere apology for the hurt they caused to the key figures of the Firm.
He shared, “Since we learnt that Harry had made this unannounced visit, I’ve been speaking to people about…the chances of a reconciliation between the brothers, but everyone really has made the same points that it won’t happen until Harry and Meghan really apologise for everything they have said.”
Richard stated that the Montecito couple needs to “apologise, at least privately,” however, he believes that they won’t be able to win back the lost trust of William and Catherine.
He added, “…William and Catherine just don’t know what will later appear in a TV programme or in a book? Genuinely, once you’ve lost that trust you’ve kind of lost it forever.”
For the unversed, Harry and Meghan left the royal family in 2020. Since then, the two have made direct attacks on the royal family either with their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview or the Duke’s explosive memoir Spare.
