Prince William’s new look triggers debate as he breaks cover after Palace announcement
Prince William has left fans guessing with his new look during his first appearance after coming face-to-face with his younger brother Prince Harry.
The Prince of Wales can be seen sporting a beard in the pictures from his first public appearance on Thursday since he returned from his summer trip to Balmoral.
The future King looked little bit different as he visited the Saatchi Gallery in London after issuing a statement regarding his return to royal duty.
William’s outing comes amid reports of his encounter with Harry at their uncle’s funeral, however, the feuding brothers did not speak even being under the same roof.
The heir to the throne’s new look reminded fans of his and Prince Harry feud over the beard.
The two brothers reportedly had a rift in the build-up to the Duke of Sussex’s wedding over the latter’s unwillingness to shave his beard off.
Some royal fans believe William has taken a leaf out of his brother’s book by also growing out his facial hair, given his recent reunion with Harry.
Prince William’s Homewards programme has partnered with Eleven Eleven Foundation and Saatchi Gallery to launch a groundbreaking exhibition which seeks to utilise the power of art to enhance the UK’s understanding of homelessness and ignite hope that it can be ended.
The ‘Homelessness: Reframed’ exhibition opened at Saatchi Gallery on Wednesday, August 7 and will run until Friday, September 20.
King Charles III’s eldest son founded Homewards in June 2023 as part of his mission to end homelessness and change the narrative and stereotypes around the crisis.
Kensington Palace stated the prince wanted the project to generate new imagery around homelessness and showcase the multiple layers of the crisis including feelings of hope.
