Prince William has made a key demand before entering into crunch talks with Prince Harry.
The Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales are not on speaking terms.

The brothers came face-to-face last week at their uncle’s funeral in Norfolk but did not interact with each other throughout the event.

However, a source close to the princes has indicated that both Harry and William are open to reconciliation.

The insider added that William would want a fresh start where things from past disagreements are not mentioned.

The source said: “Harry is open to reconciling with his brother.

“He knows it won’t be an easy task but it is something that can be brought to the table.”
They continued: “William is not opposed to a reconciliation with his brother at some point, but things would need to start from scratch, a fresh start type scenario, where things from the past are not to be mentioned.

It comes as a source claimed Prince Harry wants an apology from Prince William before he will consider returning to the Royal Family fold.

Harry walked away from his role in the monarchy alongside his wife Meghan Markle nearly five years ago.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in the US with their two young children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

However, sources have said Harry would only consider returning to the Royal Family fold if Prince William apologised to him, the Mirror claims.

Harry has been open about his desire to be provided with a higher level of security when visiting the UK.

It is understood that concern over his and his family’s security remains an issue.
Harry recently said he would not bring back Meghan Markle to the UK while his security provision remained at its current level.

Meghan Markle has not visited the UK since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.
