Prince Harry’s bombshell move ‘extremely hurt’ Queen Camilla

Prince Harry’s relationship with the Royal Family “collapsed” following the release of his explosive memoir Spare, according to GB News’ Digital Royal Editor.

The 39-year-old’s autobiography, published in January 2023, contained a series of shocking claims involving Kate, William, King Charles, and Queen Camilla
In the book, Harry revealed that his brother, William, had criticised his wife, Meghan Markle—whom he moved to the U.S. with in 2020—allegedly calling her “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive.”

Since then, Harry’s relationship with his family has significantly deteriorated, with Prince William and Kate reportedly feeling they can no longer trust him, according to GB News’ Digital Royal Editor, Svar Nanan-Sen.

In an episode of The Royal Record, Nanan-Sen discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new outlook on life ahead of Harry’s upcoming 40th birthday.

He spoke with GB News’ Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker, who reflected on how Harry, William, and Kate were once seen as a “dream team”—especially during their 2016 Heads Together campaign for mental health awareness. However, their bond has since faded.

Cameron said that Harry, his brother and Kate used to be a “dream team”, referencing a particular moment when the trio came together for their Heads Together campaign as part of the Royal Foundation, back in 2016.

All three were seen laughing as they donned bright blue headbands as they cheered on London Marathon runners, their close bond extremely apparent.
However, now, that seems to have all faded away. Cameron explained: “Now it looks like Harry and William are not on speaking terms. They haven’t spoken, we don’t think, since the late Queen’s funeral – if at all then.

“There doesn’t seem to be any indication at the moment from either side that there’s going to be any kind of talks for peace.”

Svar added that Harry’s memoir is at the centre of the fallout, which left members of the firm “furious” following its publishing.

Soon after it was released, the King asked Harry and Meghan to vacate Frogmore cottage, their base in the UK.

Svar said: “Spare is central to that [the fallout]. One, because it’s Harry’s autobiography of his life and so it’s his words and his take on a lot of things. But also it was pivotal in the collapse of his relationship with Catherine, William, and the King.

“We know that King Charles was left furious about some of the comments Harry made about Camilla in Spare.”

In one chapter, Harry referred to Queen Camilla as his “wicked stepmother”, and later he called her the “other woman”, saying meeting her was like an “injection”.

A friend of Camilla later revealed that she was left “hurt” by the remarks, and Charles reportedly asked Harry to stop “leaking” personal details about the private life of the family.

Moving on to discuss William and Kate, Svar said “They haven’t spoken since Spare was published.

“There were such personal details about their fallout in that book that royal sources say it made William and Catherine feel that they can’t trust him again.

“And how would they get back to being relaxed and trusting him when it could very well end up in a Spare part two?”

Last week, it was announced that the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare would be re-released as a paperback version in October.

However, the publisher confirmed that no new bombshell chapters would be included.
