Rumours over Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu dating have been debunked as the Briton continues to impress at the US Open.
It comes amid further gossip over Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz’s relationship, which remains a mystery.
Draper reached the quarter-final of the US Open on Monday after a 6-3 6-1 6-2 victory over Tomas Machac.
keeps alive his dream of winning the men’s singles title at Flushing Meadows this year, while he is yet to drop a set
The British no. 1 will face Alex de Minaur on Wednesday while Raducanu crashed out of the tournament after losing in the first round in disappointing fashion.
But rumours over whether the two Britons are dating are wide of the mark.
In a recent photoshoot with Vogue, Draper did call Raducanu ‘a real special talent’.
However, the two are just close pals and there is no indication that their relationship is anything more.
Meanwhile, rumours continue to flourish over whether or not Raducanu and Alcaraz are dating.
Alcaraz fuelled the speculation after a series of likes on her Instagram page while Raducanu rocked up to watch him in action in the Wimbledon final.
When asked about the rumours earlier this year and Raducanu’s attendance at SW19, Alcaraz could not hide a huge grin on his face.
“I don’t know [if she came to see me in particular],” the 21-year-old said. “I don’t know. I think a lot of people have come to see the final.
I think Novak and I always put on a good game, a show on the court. I think it’s a very nice game to watch.
“She’s from here, I imagine she would like to come and see it. Like, if there was a Grand Slam in Murcia, I would go see the final 100 per cent, even if I didn’t play.
“I don’t know if she’s come to see the final, if she’s come to see me. Who knows? I’ll have to ask her, but I hope she enjoyed the final.
If the two young tennis stars were a couple, they would not be the sport’s only romance.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have been dating since last year, though they did split earlier this year only to rekindle their relationship weeks later.
