Prince Harry’s ‘distasteful’ New comment about late Queen disrupt Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is reportedly unhappy with some of Prince Harry’s public remarks about his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, according to one royal expert.

The prince has been very candid in interviews speaking about the close relationship he shared with his grandmother
He even stated that she had “supported” his legal battles. However, a royal expert has claimed that these remarks were not well received by the palace.

In an interview included in the ITV’s Tabloids on Trial programme, the Duke of Sussex said: “We had many conversations before she passed and this is very much something that she supported.

She knew how much this meant to me and she’s very much up there saying ‘See this through to the end.

The comments left Buckingham Palace courtiers “unimpressed”, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper’s diary editor, Richard Eden, claimed that many found the comments inappropriate. In his column, he mentioned that courtiers were upset with Prince Harry’s “tasteless” attempt to suggest the Queen supports his ongoing “crusade”.

The columnist said that many might find Harry’s Queen Elizabeth II’s memory “distasteful,” especially given his behaviour during her final years.

Harry has become no stranger to candid comments getting him into the Palace’s bad books – especially after his bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview with his wife Meghan Markle in 2021 and the release of his tell-all autobiography Spare.

Spare turned out to be the best-selling book of 2023 in the UK, selling more than 700,000 copies last year after it hit the shelves in January.
