Novak Djokovic recently accomplished his dream of winning a gold medal for his nation at the Olympics. This was his fifth attempt and to achieve this dream after hard work of almost 16 years was truly a dream-come-true moment for even the man who has won so much in his career. He swiftly ran to his family, friends, and teammates to celebrate the moment. Even, after hours of that event, Djokovic is still living every bit of that emphatic triumph.
Recently, he shared a post on his Instagram account to thank his wife, kids, and parents for showing their support throughout his career. In that short video clip, he ran through quite a few memorable moments from his career, and in the caption he wrote, “God gave me this and I’m very grateful. Because I believe everything in life happens for a reason.”
He further went on to add, “I’ve tried to use my life’s calling to carry my cross honorably and represent my country and family in the right to repay my parents and the people who have been with me since childhood supporting me. And now, of course, my wife and children. Life changes. It evolves. Grows and develops. I try to enjoy as much as possible and make the most of it.”
