Meghan Markle, who marked her 43rd birthday on Sunday, August 4, may get a surprise from the royal family.
While the relations between the Sussexes and the Windsors are still strained, there is a chance that Meghan would privately be treated to a present and some birthday greetings, per former royal butler, Grant Harrold.
I think the King and Queen will send their birthday wishes, they will rise above everything that has happened because at the end of the day, they are still family,” Harrold told New York Post.
However, he shared that the exchange does not indicate any form of reconciliation.
“I don’t think that will change certainly despite everything that’s happened.”
Of the special delivery from the palace, Harrold, who worked as King Charles’ butler for seven years, maintained that it’s not a farfetched idea.
“They may send a gift as well, but given everything that has happened, there might not be,” he continued. “If they were all still getting on, I can imagine it would be a piece of jewellery or something from the royal collection, possibly a hand-me-down from the late Queen.”
In current scenario, King Charles is reportedly ignoring calls from Prince Harry neither is he responding to any messages or calls from him.
It remains to be seen if Charles may change his mind for his daughter-in-law.
