Princess Beatrice’s major family dilemma which could ruin Royal Family holiday this summer

Princess Beatrice and her husband Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi are expected at the Royal Family gathering at Balmoral later this month but are said to be disappointed that they might not be able to bring their stepson Wolfie with them.

A well-placed source reveals that Bea’s 8-year-old stepson Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Mapelli Mozzi is currently on holiday in America with his mother Dara Huang and her family and is unlikely to join them this summer.

“Dara has taken Wolfie with her to the United States for an extended summer holiday,” said the source.

“They will visit her family in Florida and make their way to the lakes in Wisconsin before returning to the UK later this month.

“Beatrice and Edo would have loved to have taken him [Wolfie] with them on their holiday but they understand that Dara also has her time with him.

They are trying to see if he might be able to join them very late this month, but it looks as if he will spend his entire summer in America which is disappointing.

“That’s what happens with blended families but they seem to navigate it very well. They all get on like a house on fire with a bit of push and pull over dates sometimes.”

Dara, 41, is a well known and respected architect who dated Eduardo for several years before they parted ways and he started dating Princess Beatrice.

Dara was educated at the University of Florida and her parents still live in the United States to this day.
Dara also took Wolfie to see her parents over Christmas time,” said the source.

“She took him on a Disney cruise and to see her parents. She always makes sure that Wofie keeps in touch with his family abroad. She’s a good mum and likes to keep him grounded.”

The last time Wolfie was seen in public was when he joined the Together At Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey in December with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. He proudly walked hand-in-hand with Princess Beatrice into Westminster Abbey.
Beatrice has previously described Wolfie as a ‘bonus child’ while Sarah Ferguson refers to him as her grandson.
Buckingham Palace has been approached for comment.
