Tiger Woods’s Niece Gives Big Update on Infant Daughter’s Serious Health…

Being a mother is the hardest task of all, but Tiger Woods’s niece, Cheyenne Woods, makes it seem like a piece of cake. The golfer’s life was forever changed when she became a mom to two precious little ones, Cameron and Maya. For her, family is everything, and she quotes it as reaffirming the importance of family and being there when you can. However, every great thing comes with its challenges, and so does motherhood.

The former Tour professional recently gave an update about Maya’s health through a video on her Instagram story. In the video, Tiger Woods’s sweet Maya was seen smiling and giggling while her mother was joyfully helping her say the word Mama. The caption read, “Our baby has been THRIVING on vacation. Love that for her, she deserves it 🤍🤍🤍”, and indeed she does. The golfer seems to be a vacation with her whole family.

While her firstborn was in the pink of health when she was born, she had to face a daunting challenge with her second child, Maya. Maya has had a rough time feeding and gaining weight ever since she was born. She battled severe reflux and laryngomalacia, and as Maya underwent surgery and began using a feeding tube, the golfer started feeling scared and helpless, to the extent that she felt scared to leave the house. Now, things seem to be changing for the better, but is the golfer coming back to the sport anytime soon?

Is Cheyenne Woods returning to the greens?

Cheyenne Woods, a professional golfer, has shifted her focus from competing full-time to prioritizing her family. Her secondborn’s medical conditions have made it almost impossible for her to come back to the sport, but there’s still some home. She now enjoys watching golf more than she did during her competitive days. Woods hopes to qualify for another U.S. Women’s Open in the future but doesn’t want to devote herself entirely to the sport. Instead, she wants to balance golf with family time.

After her last performance at the Cambia Portland Classic in September 2021, the golfer’s priorities have significantly changed. She loves the little moments she shares with her family, like making breakfast for her son and late-night feedings with her daughter. After years of traveling alone for golf, she now values family time above all else. Although she may not be seen on the golf course as frequently, Woods actively documents her journey as a mother on Instagram.

She hopes to show her children one day what an amazing golfer she is, and she talked about it in an interview with Golfweek earlier this year. “I would love for my kids to eventually be able to see what mom can do, what mom used to do,” said the golfer. And her son, Cameron, loves the sport as much as his mother: “My son loves watching golf; it’s crazy. He’s really getting into playing and baseball as well.” So, fans may not get to see more of Cheyenne Woods, but they are excited to see this new chapter in the golfer’s life.
