Meghan Markle tipped to turn her diaries into explosive new book to rock Royal Family
Meghan Markle could soon release a book compiling her diary entries during her time in Britain, according to a filmmaker behind a controversial new Prince Harry and Meghan Markle documentary.
Ulrike Grunewald, who is working on ‘Harry – the lost Prince’ which is due to air on the ZDF network in Germany in December, has suggested that the British public won’t believe a word Meghan Markle writes.
We know that Meghan kept a diary during her days in Great Britain but if she writes a book about it will people believe what she is telling?” said Grunewald.
“I remember vividly the impact of Princess Diana‘s [book and] Panorama interview in 1995. It did more harm to her than to the Royal Family in the end. It is still the same: the most damaging allegations can only come from within.
With the Sussexes there is always the feeling of a missed opportunity on both sides – for them being successful working royals within the system and for the Royal Family to present a more modern face that appeals to a younger audience.
Grunewald told Express.co.uk recently that shock revelations about the Royal family only ever come out of the Sussexes’ mouths.
“Harry – the lost Prince will look into one of the most heartbreaking periods of the Royal Family since the abdication of Edward VIII in 1936,” said Grunewald.
“The most damaging allegations can only come from within. Revelations that shock the Royal Family only come out of Prince Harry‘s or Meghan Markle‘s mouths.
“She [Meghan] might be embarrassed about the amount of criticism she now gets even in communities that used to back her after the decision to leave the Royal Family as a working member.”
Grunewald and her team have recently been filming for the project in California, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live with their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
The team behind the project are renowned in Germany for exposing secrets on the British Royal Family and recently aired a special on ‘Princess Kate and The Drama of the Windsors’ on ZDF in Germany.
“We spoke to people in the US – in California and in New York,” said Grunewald.
“At the moment it is hard to see any big achievement of their Archewell Foundation who claims to work for the improvement of communities.
“But there are still voices who see the high potential of the couple not only for the British monarchy but also for a liberal society.
