Prince Harry ‘sent note to Princess Kate’ as deadline for ‘reconciliation’ revealed

Prince Harry is said to have sent his sister-in-law Princess Kate a heartfelt note in the hope of a reconciliation, following her appearance at Wimbledon last week. As Prince William’s wife stepped out in front of the crowd wearing a vibrant purple dress, alongside her sister Pippa Middleton and daughter Princess Charlotte, she was met with cheers and a standing ovation.

The 42-year-old went on to watch the tournament and present the men’s trophy to Carlos Alcaraz who beat Novak Djokovic to victory in three sets. The event was Kate’s first solo engagement of the year, amid her ongoing cancer treatment, which she announced to the nation back in March.

Now, a source has claimed that it wasn’t just fans who were pleased to see the Princess looking so well at the tennis, but also Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from afar. The insider tells Heat Magazine that seeing Kate had prompted Harry to send her a note in the hope of finally repairing their estranged relationship.

They said: “Harry was watching Wimbledon and was thrilled to see Kate looking so radiant. He sent her a note to congratulate her and let her know how happy he was to see her out.

He’s just so grateful that she’s on the mend and able to get back to her duties after taking time off – as is Meghan.”

The insider went on to say that “Harry is convinced” that now is the perfect time to “try and repair” his and Meghan’s relationship with his brother and sister-in-law.

“Even though it’s an awkward situation for all of them, they both think the sooner they can put this all behind them, the better,” the source added to the publication.

“Harry can’t believe it ever got to this point – he genuinely thought that by now they’d have found a way to reconcile and he hates to think of it continuing.

They went on to say that it’s now down to Harry to “find a way to fix it.

The Duke of Sussex is also reportedly keen for their differences to be put to one side once and for all, in time for his 40th birthday in September.

According to the source, he is “willing to accept” that he may not ever be close to his family again, but isn’t giving up hope of a reunion.

Harry once had a close bond with his brother and Kate, who he previously described as “the sister I’ve never had and always wanted.

They have since become estranged following his move to America back in 2020, where he continues to live with Meghan and their two young children Archie and Lilibet.

After making the big move, Harry and Meghan broke their silence about life in the royal household in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they made a few startling accusations.

More recently, Harry divulged into details about his family in his autobiography Spare, which included stories about Kate and William.
