Loose Women star’s direct two-word response at Princess Kate attending Wimbledon final
Loose Women presenter Jane Moore addressed Princess Kate’s appearance at Wimbledon. The future Queen’s entrance at SW19 sparked pandemonium at the men’s singles final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon on July 14 and marked her second appearance since she announced undergoing cancer treatment.
As the Princess of Wales entered the Royal Box with Princess Charlotte, and her sister, Pippa Middleton, audiences took to their feet and delivered a standing ovation. Kate beamed and gave a small wave to the crowds, much to everyone’s delight.
Jane, 62, shared her thoughts on the Princess of Wales’ return to public life – albeit for a special occasion. Writing in her latest column for The Sun, the columnist admitted the men’s final was all but forgotten about when Kate made her Wimbledon entrance.
The on-screen star gushed over the future Queen’s appearance adding she “looked radiant”.
Jane wrote: “The Princess of Wales attended Wimbledon on the final Sunday and looked radiant.
She added: “Oh, and there were a couple of blokes playing tennis, too.”
Kate looked stylish as she donned a purple dress designed by London-based fashion label Safiyaa.
The Princess of Wales, who is also is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, returned to the public briefly to continue her tradition of presenting the Wimbledon champion their trophy.
In June, she expressed her appreciation for her royal fans and supporters, saying: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months…
It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.”
Others expressed their delight at seeing Kate back in the limelight as Piers Morgan retweeted a clip of Kate which was captioned: “A wonderful Centre Court welcome for our Patron HRH The Princess of Wales #Wimbledon.
In view of his 8.7 million followers, the YouTube host stated: “Lovely to see [three hand clap emojis].”
He was not alone in his admiration for the Princess of Wales as Dan Wootton took to X and gushed over her appearance.
Dan tweeted: “On a truly horrendous day for the world, I hope seeing Catherine, the Princess of Wales, at Wimbledon looking glowing and healthy will put a smile on the face. Welcome back, Your Royal Highness.” In a follow-up message, he added: “With Charlotte.
