subtle message behind new Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte photo revealed

Princess Kate delighted royal fans after releasing a brand new picture of her two youngest children. The sweet snap shows Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis sat side-by-side wearing matching England team shirts customised with their names and ages.

The picture, shared following the match, was accompanied by a statement of support for the England Team following their 2-1 defeat against Spain.

The Prince and Princess of Wales said: “England, your teamwork, grit and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain.”

Communication and body language expert Judi James has indicated the “adorable pose” of the two youngest siblings cheering on the Three Lions reveals much about the tight-knit Wales family.

James described huge sporting events such as the Euros Final as a “great leveller” when it comes to sharing emotions and experiences.

Commenting on the picture to The Sun, she said: “It shows two small fans sitting hunched with tension and absorbed in every moment as the rest of the UK.”

The image shows the close relationship between the two siblings, who have often been seen joking around together at other royal events.

“The way Charlotte and Louis are leaning together with their eyes on the screen in a mirrored pose gives us a glimpse of sibling unity.

Accompanied by his dad, the couple’s eldest child, Prince George, watched the action live at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Earlier the same day, Princess Charlotte attended Wimbledon alongside her mum, marking Kate’s first public appearance since Trooping the Colour in mid June.

Princess Charlotte, nine, laughed and cheered alongside the Princess of Wales and her auntie Pippa Matthews as the trio watched Carlos Alcaraz battle Novak Djokovic in the Grand Slam.

Some royal fans were quick to question the absence of the youngest Wales child Prince Louis, six, from the weekend’s sporting fixtures.

James reported it had initially appeared Louis had been “kept on the subs bench at home while missing out on all the fun.

However, she added: “He’s clearly adoring sitting watching with his big sister [in the photo] as mutual fans of the game.”

She suggested the picture showed all three Wales siblings were keenly involved in cheering on the England team.

Following the disappointing result of Sunday’s match, Prince William shared a message of support for the England players: “This time it just wasn’t meant to be. We’re all still so proud of you.
