Carlos Alcaraz, the 21-year-old Spaniard who wanted “to win Roland-Garros and Wimbledon” has finally achieved his dreams after nine years. Proved to be worthy of celebrations, Alcaraz received a grand congratulations in Paris, where his supportive father came forward again to cheer his son in an adorable gesture! A reliable fan page recently took its X platform to share a clip, where Alcaraz is spotted celebrating his victory with the Roland Garros committee in Paris.

In this video, his father is seen joining the Spaniard French Open 2024 winner as he gulps down a full glass of champagne held by a waiter using his mouth. From the video, fans can understand that Paris celebrated Alcaraz’s victory in a French way that delighted fans’ hearts. “Todo ano em Paris esse video se renova” (Every year in Paris this video is renewed) in translation – captioned the fan page.

This world’s number-two ATP star took the fraternity by storm with his A-game on Paris’s clay surface against Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Alcaraz defeated the latter by 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 in a match of 4 hours and 19 minutes. Following this victory, this Spaniard bagged a total of three Grand Slam titles. Therefore, his extreme happiness following a grand celebration was definite.

“Probably this one is the moment that I’m really proud about myself, because everything that I have done the last month just to be ready for this tournament with my team, a lot of talks with them. You know, if I have to practice, if I can’t practice or discuss with them, it has been really difficult for me, honestly.”– said the 21-year-old French Open winner.

On the other hand, Alcaraz’s father, a tennis director at their local club ‘Real Sociedad Club de Campo de Murcia’, built by Alcaraz’s grandfather, seemed extremely delighted as he held his son during his celebration time. After all, Alcaraz’s father inspired the Spaniard to take up the sport passionately. He introduced the 4-year-old Alcaraz to the sport and was his early mentor and coach.

This celebration was well-deserved for Carlos Alcaraz. When he was a kid of 12 years, he dreamt of this day and finally achieved it.

In a recently resurfaced social media video, fans could spot 12-year-old Carlos Alcaraz speaking about his idol Roger Federer. When asked about what his dream would be as a professional tennis player, the young Spaniard said- “To win Roland-Garros and Wimbledon.” Now, after nine years, Carlos truly bagged the French Open trophy showing that dreams should be always bigger.

Last year, this young tennis star defeated a stalwart like Novak Djokovic to win the Wimbledon tournament. This year he finally fulfilled the only trophy he was missing in his home. “I want to talk a little bit about my family as well. I’m glad to have part of my family here, My dad, my mum, brothers, a lot of family over there. For me it’s amazing to have you here supporting me”- he said.

Nevertheless, Carlos Alcaraz’s father joining him in his celebration is the ultimate motivating picture for young and struggling athletes out there. Alcaraz proved that one has to be dedicated and hard-working to achieve their dreams. If they stick to it, nothing can stop them from achieving their goals.
