That’s Bullshit: Rafael Nadal Got Furious With Unreasonable Question About His Girlfriend

Rafael Nadal or better known to the world as the ‘King of Clay’ is regarded as one of the most stable and mentally focused athletes on the ATP Tour.

The acclaimed “underdog” of tennis is not one to run away from a challenge and is applauded for his ruggedness in sticking to his level-best performance despite having the odds against him.
It is a known fact that Rafa does not disclose intimate details about his personal life to the media but keeps his fans in the loop by updating them on any life-changing dynamics.

During the period when Nadal was dating his now-wife, Maria Perello, he was stunned and agitated by a question posed to him by a reporter.

In a post-match interview, a news reporter stated how relationships pose a destructive element when competing in sports and presented him with the question of how his concentration has been different in tennis life. Amazed by the question, Rafa was quick to answer his queries saying “Honestly? Are you asking me this? Is this a serious question or a joke?”

He further added by quoting “I’m surprised you asked me this after being with the same girl for 15 years
“Okay we move to Spanish because that’s bullshit (the question).”
Nadal is currently taking time off from tennis and recovering from a hip injury that reoccurred and hindered his performance at the Australian Open in 2023.

The Spanish tennis professional later married his long-time girlfriend Maria Perello in 2019, with whom he has always shared a caring and loving relationship.

Nadal and Maria gave birth to their only born child in 2022, a son, who the family decided to name after the legend himself, Rafael Nadal, and is reportedly having the time of his life enjoying the joys of fatherhood.
